Silestone Bathroom Remodeling: The Fort Worth Owner’s Guide
A full Silestone bathroom remodel in Fort Worth typically runs $9,000 – $28,000, and most projects take two to four weeks from demo to final walkthrough. We stock and install Silestone quartz for vanities, shower surrounds, tub decks, and niche shelves, and our crew can usually match an existing Silestone color within a few business days. The most common way a Fort Worth homeowner lands on this page: they’ve got a bathroom that’s been patched one too many times, the vanity counter is chipped or stained, or they bought a house where the previous owner made a choice they’re now living with.
Before any Silestone material leaves the warehouse, Graham Stein walks the job and writes down exactly what’s coming out, what’s going in, and what it will cost. That written scope includes the Silestone color and finish, the edge profile, the sink cutout, the faucet drillings, and where the seams will land. Nothing gets started until that sheet is in your hands and signed.
Which Silestone Models This Applies To

Silestone is Cosentino’s quartz line, and it’s available in more than 90 colors across multiple series: the Classic series, the N-Boost finish line, the Sunlit Days collection, and the Loft and Urban series. The color name is usually printed on the underside of the slab or on the original order paperwork, which matters because two nearly identical whites, such as White Zeus Extreme and Lyra, have different fleck patterns and seam behavior. If we’re matching an existing Silestone counter or shelf, that label is the first thing we look for.
One compatibility detail that catches people off guard: Silestone slabs come in two standard thicknesses, 1.2 cm and 2 cm, and 3 cm is available in select colors. If you’re replacing one vanity top and keeping the other, the thickness has to match or the reveal will sit noticeably higher or lower. The same applies to shower curb caps and niche shelves. Cosentino also changes color availability periodically, so a color that was common in a 2016 Paloma Creek build may not be in current production. If that happens, we’ll pull physical samples and set them against your existing stone in your bathroom’s natural light before you pick.
Elmstead Remodeling Fort Worth is an independent remodeling contractor. We are not affiliated with Silestone or Cosentino, but we install their materials every week and work directly with local Fort Worth fabricators who carry the full Silestone inventory line.

Signs Your Silestone Bathroom Remodeling Is Failing
Here’s what Fort Worth homeowners actually call us about, in order of how often we hear it:
- Cracked or chipped vanity edge. A dropped hair dryer or a child’s step stool can take a chip out of a 2 cm edge. Silestone is engineered quartz and it’s tough, but the edge is the vulnerable point. A chip won’t spread the way a windshield crack does, but it will collect soap scum and start looking worse than it is.
- Seam separation at the sink or backsplash. Houses move. North Texas clay soil expands and contracts with moisture, and over five or ten years a small seam gap can open. The stone itself isn’t failing, but water gets into the gap and the caulk line starts darkening.
- Stubborn staining around the faucet base. Hard water in Fort Worth leaves mineral deposits that eat into the sealant ring around the faucet. The quartz doesn’t stain, but the failed sealant around it does, and it looks like a stain in the stone.
- Dull, cloudy patches on the vanity. Years of bathroom cleaners containing bleach or ammonia can etch the polished surface. Silestone’s warranty covers manufacturing defects, but chemical damage from household cleaners is not one of them.
- Water damage to the cabinet below the vanity. This is the expensive one. A worn-out sink flange or failing caulk bead lets water drip onto the cabinet box. By the time the homeowner sees the swelling door, the vanity is usually a full replace, not a repair.
Replacement Cost & What’s Included

In Fort Worth, a bathroom remodel involving Silestone typically lands between $9,000 and $28,000. A smaller guest bath with a prefab Silestone vanity top and new fixtures might come in around $9,000 – $12,000, while a primary bath with a full Silestone shower surround, tub deck, dual vanity, and new tile flooring can push toward $25,000 – $28,000.
What drives the range more than anything else is how much plumbing needs to move and whether the shower is being rebuilt or just re-surfaced. A Silestone vanity install alone runs $800 – $3,000 for the vanity work, with the Silestone slab fabrication typically $2,000 – $6,500 depending on square footage, edge treatment, and sink cutouts. We write the stone, the fabrication, the plumbing, the demo, and the haul-away as separate line items, so you see exactly what you’re paying for and what you’re not. And the written price is the price. If the final invoice doesn’t match, that’s on us to explain before we hand you a pen.
Every Silestone project is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise. If a seam separates within a year, we come back and re-caulk it. If the cabinet door rubs, we adjust it. Done right means done right, and we put that in writing on every contract.

You can safely do a few things on your own: inspect the caulk lines around your sink and faucet for gaps, check the cabinet floor under the vanity for moisture with a dry paper towel, and look at the underside edge of your Silestone for the color label. What you should not do is attempt to remove, cut, or re-seat Silestone yourself. A full slab vanity top weighs 200 – 400 pounds, and quartz has almost no flexibility. One wrong tilt and you’ve cracked the slab or, worse, hurt yourself or a helper.
We’ve also been called in after a homeowner tried to polish out an etch with an orbital sander and turned a dull spot into a gouge. If you’re not sure whether you’re looking at a stain or a chip in the stone, call us at (682) 708-9180 and describe what you see. We’ll tell you over the phone whether it’s worth someone coming out. Half the time it’s a ten-minute caulk fix, and we’ll say so.
Silestone Bathroom Remodeling FAQs

A properly installed Silestone vanity or shower surface will last 25 years or more. The stone doesn’t fail from age; what fails first is usually the caulk, the sealant, or the cabinet underneath, which is why we check all three during every remodel.
Small chips can be filled with color-matched epoxy and polished to where most people can’t find the repair, but a full crack through the slab is a replace, not a patch. We’ll give you an honest read on which one you have before quoting either path. Call (682) 708-9180 and we’ll take a look.
From template to fabrication to install, a single vanity replacement in Fort Worth usually takes one to two weeks. The fabrication shop does the cutting and polishing off-site; the actual removal and install in your bathroom is typically a half-day to a full day on-site.
We keep standard Silestone edge profiles, color-matched caulk, and sink mounting hardware in our Fort Worth shop, but the slab itself is always fabricated to your specific measurements and color match. We also work with KraftMaid, Cambria, and Kohler materials regularly, so if you’re updating the vanity cabinet as well, we can coordinate all of it in one scope.
