Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Elmstead Remodeling Fort Worth
Most remodeling crews show up as strangers. Ours don’t. Every Elmstead Remodeling project in Fort Worth is run by a small, consistent group of people who know the city’s older pier-and-beam homes, its 1990s slab-on-grade subdivisions, and the way August heat changes how grout cures. You’ll see the same faces from the first measurement to the final walkthrough. No rotating subs, no mystery helpers. These are the people who will actually be in your house.

Our People

Marty R., Lead Technician
Marty has spent 18 years in residential remodeling, the last 9 of them focused on Fort Worth’s older neighborhoods like Ryan Place, Mistletoe Heights, and Berkeley. His specialty is making new work match old character: scribe-fitting trim on 1920s door casings, matching plaster texture patches, and knowing when a floor slope is historic charm versus a structural conversation. He holds EPA lead-safe certification, which matters on any pre-1978 home in the city. Marty keeps a handwritten notebook of every home he has worked on, with notes on paint colors and odd measurements, because he says a good remodel is 60 percent preparation and 40 percent patience.
Dani S., Senior Installer
Dani handles cabinetry, tile, and finish work, and she is the person most likely to spend an afternoon in your kitchen perfecting a countertop seam. She came to Elmstead from a cabinet shop where she learned how KraftMaid and Wellborn boxes are built, which means she can explain why a particular drawer glide is worth the cost and why another is a downgrade. Dani is meticulous about layout: her tile lines run true through doorways, and she alphabetizes cabinet hardware bags before install day. She has a Schnauzer named Biscuit who waits in the truck during job walks, and she will ask if your dog is okay with a stranger before ever opening the gate.
Celeste O., Service Coordinator
Celeste is the voice on the phone when you call at 9:00 on a Tuesday, and the one who knows whether the Cambria slab for your island arrived at the fabricator yet. She has been with Elmstead Remodeling Fort Worth for 6 years and keeps the schedule and material orders from colliding. Celeste grew up in North Richland Hills and can tell you which permit office line moves fastest on a Thursday afternoon. She treats every schedule change as a problem to solve before it reaches your front door, which is why most clients have her direct line saved by week two of a project. Ask her about her garden; she will ask about your kids’ nap times so the crew knows when to keep the tile saw quiet.
Wyatt G., Apprentice
Wyatt joined the team two years ago after a stint doing carpentry on a ranch outside Weatherford, and he spends most days learning finish work from Marty and Dani. He is the one hauling materials, building protection layouts, and taping drop cloths before the first hammer swing. Wyatt is currently working through manufacturer training with Schluter for waterproofing systems, and he already handles transition strips and shoe molding without supervision. He grew up around horses and still wakes up unreasonably early, which means he is usually the first one at the job site doing a perimeter check. He is the kind of apprentice who asks why before he does something, and that is exactly how we like it.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on this team follows the same rule: protect the home as if the family is standing in the room watching. Shoe covers go on at the door, drop cloths go down before tools come out, and tools go quiet during rest hours when children are napping. Pet-safe products are chosen whenever there is an option. The written price comes before any work starts, always, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the finished project for a full year after completion. If something is not right, we come back and make it right, no debate. That standard does not change because a different crew member is on site. It is the C.A.R.E. promise from Cedarwell: clean up like it is our own home, ask before we move anything, respect the family’s time, and explain the price before the work. Every project, every visit, no exceptions.
