The Elmstead Remodeling Fort Worth Guarantee
When we finish a remodel in Fort Worth, we don’t consider the job done because the last cabinet door is hung or the final tile is set. We consider it done because you can walk through the space and see that everything works the way it should, looks the way we agreed, and sits square and true. Our guarantee is the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if it’s not done right after the job is complete, we make it right. That’s stamped on every project we complete, from a small bathroom refresh in Arlington Heights to a whole-home remodel in Tanglewood. No fine print, no expiration on our responsibility, no phone tree to fight through when you call. You call, a live person answers, and we show up.
What’s Covered
Here’s what our guarantee means in practice, not in a brochure. These are the specific commitments we make on every Elmstead Remodeling Fort Worth project:
- Workmanship on every surface, seam, and connection. If a drawer front shifts, a caulk line separates, or a tile cracks because of how it was set, we repair or replace it under the 365-Day Done Right Promise.
- Materials installed correctly, with their manufacturer warranties intact. When we install cabinets from KraftMaid or Wellborn, countertops from Cambria or Silestone, or fixtures from Kohler and Moen, those products carry warranties from the manufacturers themselves, and our installation work won’t void them.
- Clean-up that’s documented, not promised. We take a photo of the clean-up before our crew leaves every day, and we share it with you. If the floor isn’t protected, if debris is left behind, if your front walk isn’t swept, we didn’t finish that day.
- Your home protected while we work in it. Drop cloths on the floors, shoe covers at the door, and quiet tools during family rest hours where possible. These aren’t add-ons or line items. They’re included on every job, every visit.
- The price we put in writing before we start. No estimate that grows after the crew arrives, no surprise change orders, no “we found something” that doubles the bill. If something genuinely changes in scope, we write a new price and you approve it before we proceed.
- Respect for your family’s routines. We ask before we move or touch anything, we work around nap times and pet schedules where we can, and we choose pet-safe products where there’s a choice.

Our Satisfaction Promise
Here’s how the make-it-right process actually works in Fort Worth. If you walk through your finished kitchen or bathroom and something isn’t right, you call (682) 708-9180. A live person answers, day or night. You tell us what you’re seeing. We schedule a visit, Graham Stein or a senior crew lead walks the space with you, and we listen. If it’s a workmanship issue, we fix it. If a material failed, we work through the manufacturer warranty alongside you. If we made a mistake in how something was built or installed, we own it without hedging. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a one-time inspection pass. It means that for a full year after we finish, if you find something that isn’t right, we come back and make it right. That’s the job. The project isn’t complete until you say it is.
Licensed & Insured Backing
A guarantee is only as strong as the company standing behind it. Elmstead Remodeling Fort Worth is licensed and insured, and that matters in ways you hope you never have to test. If a worker is injured on your property, our insurance covers it, not your homeowner’s policy. If something unexpected affects your home during the project, our coverage addresses it. And licensing means the people doing the work have met Texas’s standards for construction work and are accountable to the state, not just to a sales script. We carry insurance because we should, not because a contract requires it. When Graham Stein walks your job site, he’s not checking boxes for a corporate office. He’s the one whose name is on the work, and he’s the one who answers when you call.

AfterWhat the 365-Day Done Right Promise Means for Your Project
Here’s a practical example. A homeowner in Ryan Place called us about six months after a kitchen remodel because a soft-close drawer on their KraftMaid cabinet was sticking. It wasn’t a structural failure. It was an alignment issue that developed after the house settled a bit. We sent a tech out, adjusted the drawer, checked every other drawer in the kitchen, and were gone within an hour. No invoice. No debate about whether settlement was “our fault.” It was a drawer we installed, so it was our drawer to fix. That’s what the promise looks like when it’s tested.
The same applies to larger issues. If a grout line cracks in a shower we tiled, we remove the failing grout and re-grout it. If a door we hung starts to bind, we plane and re-hang it. If a seam in a quartz countertop opens up, we bring in our fabrication partner and have it re-seamed. We don’t wait for the homeowner to prove it’s our fault. We just fix it.
What we don’t cover under the 365-Day Done Right Promise is damage caused by the homeowner after completion. If a drawer handle gets yanked off by a four-year-old, that’s not a workmanship issue. If someone drops a cast iron skillet on a quartz edge and chips it, that’s not on us. We’ll still help you source the repair, and we’ll still answer the phone when you call. But the promise covers what we built and how we built it, not wear-and-tear or accidents after we’ve handed the keys back over.
Why We Put the Price in Writing First

The most common complaint we hear about contractors in Fort Worth isn’t about workmanship. It’s about the bill arriving higher than the estimate. We solved that problem by refusing to start any work without a written price. Not a verbal agreement, not a handshake, not a “trust us.” A written line-item price for the scope we’ve agreed on.
That price includes the materials we’re naming by brand. It includes the labor, the dump fees, the permits where required, and the clean-up. It does not include vague allowances that can balloon. If you want Cambria quartz and we quote Silestone, that’s a different price, and you’ll see it before you sign. If we open a wall in Fairmount and find plumbing that has to be moved to make the layout work, we stop, we show you what we found, we write a new price for the additional scope, and we wait for your approval. The written price is always included, never optional, and it never changes because the crew arrived and “discovered” something we should have seen in planning.
Graham Stein has been doing this long enough to know that surprises during construction are inevitable. Surprise bills don’t have to be. Our job is to find the issues early, explain them clearly, and give you a price you can evaluate before anything gets torn further apart.
How We Handle Manufacturer Warranties
We install products with warranties homeowners can verify independently. KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinetry carry their own manufacturer warranty terms. Cambria, Silestone, and Caesarstone stand behind their surfaces. Kohler, Moen, and Grohe warranty their fixtures. James Hardie and GAF warranty their exterior products. We don’t speak for those manufacturers, and we won’t quote their warranty terms to you as if they were ours. What we will do is make sure your installation doesn’t void them, and if a material failure happens during or after our work, we’ll help you work through the manufacturer’s warranty process. You’re never stranded with a product defect and no one to call.
Our workmanship guarantee is separate and stands on its own. It covers the labor and installation quality of everything we touch, for 365 days after we finish. If a product fails because we installed it wrong, that’s on us. If a product fails because the product is defective, that’s on the manufacturer. Either way, you call one number: (682) 708-9180. We coordinate the rest.
Questions Fort Worth Homeowners Ask About Our Guarantee

Does the 365-Day Done Right Promise cost extra?
No. It’s included on every project, it’s written into your contract, and it doesn’t require a registration or a fee. It’s simply how we operate.
What if I find an issue at month eleven?
Call us at (682) 708-9180. We’ll come out, assess it, and if it’s a workmanship issue, we fix it under the promise. The promise covers the full 365 days, up to and including the last day.
Do you guarantee the work of your subcontractors?
Yes. Every trade that works on your Fort Worth home, from plumbers to electricians to tile setters, works under our contract and our standards. If their work isn’t right, it’s our responsibility to make it right. You don’t have to chase down a subcontractor’s warranty.
What if I’m not happy with the final result but I can’t point to a specific defect?
Tell us what’s bothering you. Sometimes it’s a caulk line that’s just slightly off, sometimes it’s a paint sheen mismatch, sometimes it’s a cabinet door that doesn’t sit flush in a certain light. We’d rather hear it and fix it than have you quietly dissatisfied in a kitchen you’ll live with for twenty years. Call (682) 708-9180 and we’ll schedule a walkthrough.
How long do I have to report an issue?
You can report an issue at any point during the project and for 365 days after we’re finished. If something is wrong, we want to know. The sooner you tell us, the sooner we make it right.
